Nassau Alternative Advocacy Program
is a NYS OASAS certified, nonprofit, full-service outpatient substance use disorder treatment center, dedicated to person-centered treatment by providing a welcoming atmosphere where no one seeking recovery is turned away. Our primary purpose provides the professional delivery of services in a safe environment, promoting wellness and healing through evidenced based practices under clinical direction. We firmly believe that engaging and empowering clients through Shared Decision-Making fosters a strong therapeutic alliance; produces better retention rates and treatment outcomes; and supports a continuum of care “process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live self-directed lives, and strive to reach their full potential.”
